In 1985, a small family business dedicated to outstanding auto servicing opened its doors in south-central Calgary. LAD’s AUTO has been running strong ever since. Our Maintenance-First approach is about keeping your vehicle or fleet in top-working order, and preventing problems that can lead to costly repairs.
Today, we serve a growing list of customers that includes suburban commuters, soccer moms, sport car enthusiasts, truck lovers, and some of Calgary’s largest and most essential fleets. Our team is comprised of qualified technicians and support staff – all dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience with every visit.

Larry and Mandy Dansereau open their own 2-bay repair shop, named LAD’S AUTO
LAD’s purchases land and building for a 5-bay garage and moves to current location
LAD’s builds modern 12-bay, 9-hoist facility with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment
Dave Dansereau (son to Larry & Mandy) takes over daily operations
LAD’s continues to serve all of Calgary and surrounding areas

Meet Our Family
Dave Dansereau is proud to follow in the footsteps of his parents, Larry and Mandy, managing the day-to-day operations of LAD’s AUTO. He is committed to ensuring the business remains family-run and customer-focused. To help him is a dedicated team of five licenced mechanics and two apprentice technicians (some specialize in diagnostics, while the others focus on general repairs), as well as two dedicated service advisors.
The Dansereaus have always worked hard to create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment within their family business. Today, LADs is helping young people to become certified journeymen and to obtain their licence. Dave works directly with the apprenticeship board at SAIT by providing guidance around programs.
